About Killer Webinars
I haven’t noticed too many Webinar Gurus out there, have you? There must be room for one more of those because I see a lot of lousy online presentations, overly confident web conferencing vendors, buyer confusion, and technical meltdowns.

[Zoom camera from above to close in on Shelley Ryan, standing defiantly on a cliff, gazing across the distant ocean with the wind stirring her flowing hair extensions]
[Cue the Meryl Streep Kathleen Turner Holly Hunter voice-over]
“I shall be the calm voice of reason in a cacophony of crummy online presentations, spreading peace and tranquility among those flummoxed by file formats, bandwidth limitations, stubborn speakers, multimedia gewgaws, and impossible promises of flawless VoIP.”
[Cut to scene of home office. Cue the rock music]

[Pan camera slowly over piles of computers, cables, audio devices, books, sleeping schnauzers, etc. Bring focus on Shelley Ryan, sitting in an overstuffed chair, wearing a goofy headset, absently eating a cheese straw while staring intently at a laptop. She looks above the laptop screen directly into the camera.]
“If you want to start doing online meetings or webinars, don’t put yourself through hell. I’ve already been there and back, and I know how to make you look like a rock star.”
[Camera pulls away as Shelley Ryan returns her attention to the laptop... CUT.]
Me with no cliff, wind, or hair extensions.
You’ll find lots of free stuff on my site that will help you do Killer Webinars. Okay, there’s not a lot here YET because I’m way behind on all the things I plan to share. Patience, grasshopper. Add your name to the Killer list and I’ll send you periodic updates.
If you want to know something about webinars right this very second, let’s talk! Try 888 449-8929 or shelley-at-killerwebinars.com. I’m better on the phone — email ping-pong drives me a little crazy.

I absolutely love the DRAMA! Great pitch … now you just need to find a videographer to record you on that cliff! Talk about a killer YouTube marketing video!
By the way, the two items in your list that really resonate with me are “stubborn speakers” and “impossible promises of flawless VOIP”. Sometimes a client is their own worst enemy. All I can say about the VOIP is “don’t believe the hype!”
I have a love/hate relationship with VoIP, Matt… starting with the acronym itself. ;)
Thanks for dropping in, and I hope to see you in the ether sometime!
Shelley,
I’ve been a MarketingProfs subscriber for several years. I think I was an early adopter. Anyway, I was talkin’ to Jenny today and we got around to the fact that although I live in NY, I’m from Texas and lived in Austin and that I spent 15+ years in global advertising in NYC and left to launch a bootwear company cause I’m also a bootmaker & boot designer and she said you love boots and then she told me about the launch of Killer Webinars and well, girl, I’m gonna talk to our sales & training folks about what you’ve got goin’ on here. (I’m DoM for this marine industry franchise network in Long Island). And while that’s happening, I’m going to consider how KW can assist me in growing my boot business. Will you barter for boots? Congratulations on the new venture!
Christine, I have no horse but that doesn’t stop me from wearing boots! I’ve had my eye on some Old Gringo’s and Lucchese’s lately… your delaCav’s look divine.
A boot-iful webinar would be a real kick, wouldn’t it? Call me anytime, this is an idea we MUST discuss. :) 888.449.8929
Love this new gig, Shelley! Best of luck. You are certainly the pro.
Thanks, Elaine! I enjoy doing this stuff. Does it show? ;)
